We offer residential, medical, therapeutic, educational and recreational services, all provided with a gentle, loving touch.

    Responsibilities

    The qualified candidate will

      

         -teach, mentor, support, monitor and measure the progress of our professional development training program

         -be fully engaged in the design of the program, as well its’ continued enhancement over time  

         -be responsible for identifying training opportunities

         -implement training programs and monitoring professional development of all staff, for the purpose of achieving identified performance outcomes, and to maintain compliance with trainings required by regulatory agencies

        - be the subject matter expert for various topics

        -coordinates and facilitates a comprehensive new hire orientation program

        -collaborate with department managers to identify training needs, develop training programs, build online learning modules and provide training as needed

        -ensure the home is compliant with state regulations, schedules, directs and tracks mandatory in-services for all employees

     

    Qualifications

    The qualified candidate will

     

         -have a bachelor’s degree in human services, education, special education, IT or a related field

         -have at least 2 year of experience training or providing adult education

         -have experience working directly with individuals with developmental or physical disabilities preferred

         -have working knowledge of ICF-IID operations, policies, and procedures preferred

         -have experience with Person Centered Practices is preferred

         -pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
