    Immediate opening for a bright, talented accounting manager with 3+ years’ experience to join our professional team. Position reports to Controller.  St. Mary’s Home is an equal opportunity employer offering competitive salary and excellent benefits.



    • File Federal, State and Local taxes
    • Manage general ledger accounting system and perform journal entries
    • Maintain A/P and ensure timely payment of invoices
    • Supervise patient and benefits billing and A/R
    • Assist with payroll and A/R functions in the absence of the Assistant Bookkeeper
    • Perform monthly closing functions and maintain reports to support financial statements
    • Maintain internal controls
    • Support Controller with annual financial audits
    • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain bank accounts
    • IRS 1099 processing and reporting


    • 3+ years’ experience with accounting GL and/or running a Payroll/Financial system
    • Advanced skills using Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Office Suit
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience
    • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
    • Ability to type with accuracy
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Positive customer service attitude
    • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds, stand, stoop and bend
    • Visual acuity
